Traffic mirror

Copy matched requests to a shadow service by API scope, labels, and ratio.

Wizard type: Mirror (kind=traffic-mirror).

Steps

  1. Create rule → Mirror.
  2. Fill and save:
    1. Basics
    2. Service scope: caller → callee; caller may be all namespaces/services
    3. Mirror sub-rules (≥1): API scope → traffic labels → execute (ratio 0–100, target ns/service)
  3. Publish.

Notes

  • Mirroring creates extra traffic/side effects—size the shadow target accordingly.
  • Resource: MirrorRules / TrafficMirrorRules.

Traffic security

Configure callee auth mode and allow/deny rules, then publish.

Traffic mock

Return fixed Code, delay, and Body when API and traffic conditions match.
